This morning, Jan and I walked past the vineyards near our
home. It was a stunning day filled with blue sky, white clouds and rich earth.
We saw the coming harvest of grapes hanging heavy on the vines. The grapes we
still green and not yet ready to pick. As soon as I saw the abundance of
hanging fruit they became a word picture.
The fullness of time is approaching when the sweetness of
what God has planted in your life will be tasted. This is a time for you to
wait and not hurry His process. Bring every impatient thought into a place of
rest while God fills the fruit of your destiny with the sweetness of
His presence. If you eat too early it will become a sour taste in your mouth.
Wait with expectation and anticipate the taste of God’s goodness.
