I have learned that
being prophetic is not limited to the prediction of a future event or a word of encouragement. It also includes the revelation of unseen pathways
of hope that are often hidden beneath the intensity of human emotion.
This morning both
President Obama and President-Elect Trump spoke with honor of each other and
committed themselves to the peaceful transition of power in our nation. They
said this while possessing two very different worldviews.
Today, the Spirit
is releasing a new band of cultural prophets who will bring words of prophetic
insight that will reveal the way forward. The insight they bring will carry the
sound of invitation, not rejection - honor, not degradation.
God loved the world
so much that He sent Jesus to show us the largeness of His love. That love was
able to embrace a betrayer like Judas, a pre-Pentecost buffoon named Peter and
people like you and me who are currently trying to find our way forward through
the ramifications of a national election where good people exist on both sides
of the final election result.
