There will come a point in your life when the net of your youth
will no longer be able to hold the weight of your aging. Some fear this moment
and spend their time and energy trying to prevent its arrival. There is another
option. Engage the beauty of aging and the promise that comes with a gray crown
of glory. Allow yourself to fall from
youth’s net to be caught in the promise of a new season of life that is not yet
explored. This is what is means to age gracefully.
“A gray head is a crown of glory. It is
found in the way of righteousness.” Proverbs 16:31
