A Goose-stepping Faith

Whenever you see a group of believers marching forward in intellectual lockstep fearful of entertaining a differing opinion, you will find the Holy Spirit has been pushed to the perimeter of their thinking. If we are not careful, the Church can appear to our culture like a repressive regime training its troops to march in a perfectly choreographed goose step before a viewing stand at a parade ground. Never fear diversity and honest inquiry in any form. It is the mark of a healthy spiritual environment.
