When a life plan begins to unravel, God knows how to reweave all the disconnected parts into something better.
When a well-thought plan begins to unravel, our first response can be to grab all the frayed ends and try to put them back together again. I want to suggest that unraveling is not always a bad thing. Sometimes God will allow a process to unravel so he can reweave the elements back together into something stronger.
Our transition can become so planned and well executed that at some point we stop exercising faith. We end up going with the flow of the plan and fail to yield our lives in faith each day.
None of us likes things to come undone. It feels uncomfortable and disorganized. God is bigger than these scenarios. Give him your frayed and disconnected ends. Watch him begin to weave the plan back together. When he is done, he will hand the tapestry back to you stronger and more beautiful than it was before the problems arose.
