When
God pulls the plug in some area of your life He does this to drain away what is
present in order to make room for something new. Before you start trying to
plug the drain and fix the leak it is important to understand what is taking
place.
The
Apostle Paul told the Ephesian Church to be filled with the Spirit. Those who understand the meaning of the
original language tell us the word, “filled”, could more accurately be rendered
“be being filled”. In other words, our
lives are a perpetual process of draining and filling. Draining is part of the
process of filling. Both are important and both will be present in a healthy
spiritual life.
