In Psalm 86:17, David made a request of the Lord, "Send me a sign of your favor." When opposition was coming against David from all quarters, and his circumstances were overwhelming, he knew to recognize the favor of God on His life would bring much a needed perspective shift.
I needed that recognition today for something I am dealing with. Favor is all over my life, but some days I allow myself to become overwhelmed with the smallest of issues and lose a healthy perspective about my life. Maybe this is a request you need to make of the Lord to change your perspective. It truly does bring wholeness to our life-perspective. It did for me. Recognizing His favor is a powerful, game-changing revelation.
