A Word on Leadership

One of the great hindrances to becoming a healthy leader is putting yourself in a place where you always have to “produce”. If you are in this kind of environment you need to make a change in your perspective and in some cases, your actual place of ministry. You don’t have the strength to endure the demands that will be laid upon you to produce more and more with no end in sight. At some point you will make yourself vulnerable to compromise. On the other hand, if you have laid this burden on a leader go to them and ask for their forgiveness. You never want your demands to become another dreaded weight to bear. You are meant to be an encouragement.

In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength.” Isaiah 30:15
